Anne With an E Cancelled?!

So apparently, Anne With an E is gonna have three seasons...and nothing more. The director wanted to make it five seasons. Ouch. What is with Netflix and cancelling shows lately? Though I find it kinda hilarious now that people are begging Netflix to renew it, since back when it first premiered, people were bashing it left and right. If this turns out to be true, then it's a shame it won't continue past season 3. I still like the show, and when season three comes out, you can be sure I'll watch it.
