I give this movie...a 67/100.

This movie was...interesting. This is apparently based on some manga or light novel series or something, and it certainly didn't out stay its welcome. In fact I WANTED TO SEE MORE OF IT!! But again, this is one of those 90s promotional movies meant to make everyone go out and read the novels to see how it starts and ends. Believe me, this has a LOT of problems. The entire premise of the movie just consists of a trio of people walking through a desert into a city for the dead in order to get water, as the continent they're living on is barren after a series of events.

Do you know Now and Then, Here and There (Ima, Soko ni Iru Boku)? The title somehow made me remember it. The topic about water issues is the same there, though that is a 13 episode series.

Yep! I've seen the whole series some years ago and have the DVD set! I reviewed it long ago.
